On this episode, Nikki continues her
talk with Lisa Everett Andersen, a holistic clinical pharmacologist
and board certified clinical nutritionist and author about her new
book Learning to Thrive in a Toxic World. Lisa explains that
she wrote the book for people who are ready to take control of
their health and are willing to let go of the traditional American
diet. Her book is broken into three parts. Section one
is all about the problems in our current approach to health,
section two is about how to heal ourselves and our planet, and
section three covers the endocrine system and how we can repair
it. Lisa shares some tips you can already start doing
to improve your health like turning off your modem and
putting your cell phone on Airplane mode at night, as well as not
microwaving your food.
